Good morning, everyone!

Ready to Speak

Respected teachers, honourable guests, and my dear friends,

A very warm and delightful morning to all of you!

Today, I am going to talk about a festival that fills our hearts with happiness, our homes with light, and our lives with hope. Yes, I am talking about the beautiful festival of Diwali, the festival of lights.

Diwali is not just a festival for me; it is an emotion, a celebration of family, and a reminder that light always has the power to overcome darkness.

So, let me take you through my Diwali celebration, from the early morning until the night.

🌅 1. My Diwali Morning

My Diwali begins with excitement and positive energy. I wake up early in the morning, take a refreshing bath, and put on traditional clothes. Before starting the celebrations, I help my family clean and decorate our home.

We believe that a clean and beautiful home creates a welcoming atmosphere for the festival. My family members prepare delicious sweets, snacks, and traditional dishes, while I contribute by arranging decorations and helping with household preparations.

After that, we decorate the entrance with a colourful rangoli, place diyas around the house, and add flowers to make the surroundings look vibrant and festive.

🪔 2. Morning Preparations and Family Time

Once our basic preparations are complete, we spend quality time together. We prepare homemade sweets such as ladoos, gulab jamun, and other festive delicacies.

Sometimes, we visit our relatives, exchange greetings, and share sweets with our neighbours. This is one of my favourite parts of Diwali because it strengthens relationships and spreads the spirit of togetherness.

I also make sure that the younger members of my family understand the importance of celebrating responsibly and respecting the environment.

☀️ 3. Afternoon Activities

During the afternoon, we finish the remaining preparations for the evening celebration. We arrange gifts, decorate the rooms, and organise everything needed for Lakshmi Puja.

I enjoy listening to festive music and having meaningful conversations with my family. We capture memorable moments through photographs, laugh together, and enjoy the warmth of being surrounded by our loved ones.

The afternoon is usually peaceful, but there is always a sense of anticipation because we know that the most beautiful part of the celebration is yet to come.

🙏 4. Evening Diwali Celebration

As the sun begins to set, the entire atmosphere changes. We light diyas, switch on decorative lights, and make our home glow with warmth and happiness.

In the evening, my family performs Lakshmi Puja, seeking blessings for prosperity, peace, good health, and happiness. We pray together and express our gratitude for everything we have.

After the puja, we exchange Diwali wishes with our friends, relatives, and neighbours. The streets are beautifully illuminated, and the entire neighbourhood seems to come alive with joy.

I prefer celebrating an eco-friendly Diwali by using diyas and decorative lights and avoiding excessive noise and pollution caused by firecrackers.

🍽️ 5. Dinner and Night Celebration

After completing the evening rituals, we sit together for a delicious family dinner. We enjoy traditional food, share our experiences, and talk about our hopes and plans for the future.

Later, we may visit relatives or spend some time admiring the beautiful lights around us. I also enjoy taking pictures of the decorations and making memories that I can cherish for years to come.

Before going to bed, I thank God for my family, my health, and the opportunities in my life. I reflect on the importance of kindness, gratitude, and spreading happiness.

🌟 6. My Conclusion

Finally, when the day comes to an end, I feel grateful and satisfied. Diwali teaches me that true happiness does not come only from expensive gifts, beautiful decorations, or grand celebrations. It comes from love, togetherness, kindness, and inner peace.

In my opinion, the real meaning of Diwali is not simply lighting lamps outside our homes, but also lighting the lamp of goodness within our hearts.

So, this Diwali, let us spread happiness, help those in need, protect our environment, and celebrate with love and responsibility.

Let us remove darkness, spread positivity, and make every day brighter for one another.

Thank you so much, everyone!

Happy Diwali to you and your families! 🪔✨
